論文誌編集長の公募について
Recruitment for Editor-in-Chief

日本原子力学会では、原子力分野における学術および技術の進歩を図り、その成果の活用
と普及を進めるため、英文論文誌および和文論文誌を定期刊行しているほか、不定期で国
際会議論文集を刊行しています。
この度、論文誌の更なる発展にご貢献いただける、熱意と識見をお持ちの編集長を公募致
します。

一般社団法人日本原子力学会　論文誌編集長の公募について

募集人員：編集長 1名
応募資格：
(1) 本学会における編集活動を理解し、本論文誌の運営の熱意と実行力のある方。学術誌
の編集経験があり、日本語、英語で円滑なコミュニケーションを取れること。
(2) 博士の学位を有すること。年齢70歳以下（就任時）
業務内容： 編集者、投稿者、学会事務局及び出版業務委託先（Taylor &Francis社）とコミ
ュニケーションを取り、論文誌の編集全般を円滑に行うことに責任を持つ。また本論文誌
の価値を世界的に高め、将来に持続可能な編集システムの構築および運営に関するビジョ
ンを示すことも望む。
就任時期：2026年4月1日以降なるべく早い時期（ただし編集業務に精通していただく
ため就任前に必要期間の嘱託勤務（有給）を置く場合あり）
任期：4年間（ただし1年ごとに編集委員長の承認を得る必要有。
　　　　　　　任期満了時に75歳未満の場合には再任の可能性あり）
勤務地：自宅（業務委託形式）

Recruitment for Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the Atomic Energy Society of Japan

Number of positions: 1 Editor-in-Chief
Eligibility:
(1) Applicants must understand the editorial activities of the AESJ, have the enthusiasm
and ability to manage the journal, have experience editing in academic journals, and be
able to communicate smoothly in both Japanese and English.
(2) Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and be 70 years of age or younger (at the time of
appointment).
Job description: The Editor-in-Chief must be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of
the journal's overall editorial process by communicating with editors, paper submitters, the
AESJ's administrative office, and the publishing contractor (Taylor & Francis). The Editor-in-
Chief should increase the value of the journal worldwide and provide a vision for the
construction and operation of a sustainable editorial system in the future.
Appointment date: As early as possible after April 1, 2026 (however, there may be a period
of contract work (paid) prior to the appointment to become familiar with editorial work).
Term: 4 years (however, approval from an Editorial Committee Chair of the AESJ obtained
annually. If the candidate is under 75 years old at the end of the term, there is a possibility
of reappointment).
Work location: Home (contract work)
Documents to be Submitted
(1) Curriculum Vitae (with attached photo, name, gender, date of birth (age), current
address, academic history (year and month), work history (year and month, subjects),
awards and punishments, stamp or signature.
(2) Editing activities and research achievements in academic journals.
(3) Documents describing the reason for application (vision and aspirations as editor-in-
chief of the Journal of the Atomic Energy Society of Japan. Each must be within 1,000
words).
